• Video Data: Video recordings of crowds during DJ performances (processed locally on device)
• Emotion Analytics: Aggregated emotion data extracted from video recordings
• Session Data: Date, time, duration, and location of DJ sessions
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide real-time emotion analytics during DJ performances
• Generate post-session analytics and visualizations
• Authenticate users and maintain account security
• Improve our emotion detection algorithms

Video Processing and Facial Recognition

GrooveGauge uses facial recognition technology to detect emotions in crowd videos:

• Video is processed in real-time during recording
• We extract emotion data (happy, surprise, neutral, fear, anger, sad) every 2.5 seconds
• Original video files are stored temporarily on your device
• Only aggregated emotion data is sent to our servers
• We do not identify individuals or store biometric identifiers

Data Storage and Security

• Account credentials are securely stored using iOS Keychain
• Server infrastructure is hosted on AWS with encryption in transit (HTTPS)
• Emotion data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information only in these circumstances:

• With your explicit consent
• To comply with legal obligations
